Dear Family and Friends!!!
I am very gratful that President Jensen let me call home! Hopefully I won't have to call home for anything else until Christmas (which is coming up quickly!!! )
Sounds like y'all had a funish week haha! I'm glad that BYU and Westlake won!!!! BYU will do great against Utah State this week!!!
That's good that President Hughes had a really good turnout for his funeral! He was definately loved!!!
Tell Grandma Williams Happy Birthday from ME!!!!!
Nothing new has happened with Nathan and Candice, we are going to try and see them this week and invite them to General Conference! Nathan showed an interest in seeing the prophet of today! So hopefully that will get him to come!
Elder Horning still is getting little dizzy spells but he is trying to work through them!
This week was very slow unfortunately :( bad weather keeps us in, our car is opened to the sky so we are doing our best not to make it sucomb to more rain! And riding our bikes or walking in the rain isn't very smart to do :( so yeah, that kept us in for about 2 days and we had zone conference on tuesday! We got Septembers and Octobers Ensigns and I thouroughly love Octobers!!! I'm gonna read it again when I am done and I am going to read all the scriptures that show up in it!!! After zone conference we did a tradeoff with Elder Brown (DL) and Elder Chapman. This time I went with Elder Brown in Douglas. It was a good tradeoff, except that Elder Horning and Elder Chapman were stuck inside pretty much the whole time!
I am doing very well with my Book of Mormon reading! I am on Ether 3!! I'm fixing to be done with it by the end of the week and then I am going to start again!! It's gonna be fun!!! I really am loving reading the Book of Mormon! And reading the Oct Ensign is increasing my desires to read it in a new light!!! I LOVE it!!!! And General Conference is this weekend!! We are SOOOO excited for it!!!!! But that's pretty much this week :( sorry it's so short!
I can't believe that I trun 20 in a month and 3 days!?!?! I'm excited!!!!!
Well I think I will leave y'all with that! I love y'all very much (everyone reading this)!!!
Love,
Elder Cameron Williams

Cameron's Letter Sept 19, 2011
Dear Family and Friends!!!
Tell Grandma Williams Happy Late Birthday from me please!!! And tell her that I love her!!
BYU!?!?! I can't believe it :( Good thing I didn't watch it! I would have been mad!!!
Well mum I am just grateful that you were blessed to only be in Stage 0!! I have been praying for you and Dad to bless you for your sacrifice of paying for Jamie's and my mission! This wasn't what I was thinking when I was asking for a blessing for y'all, but hey! it works for me!! :)
You used alot of big words in you story mom haha! I couldn't understand most of them, but I got the message!
That's awesome that Emily got to go to the Temple!!! And that's great that she loved it!!! When we come home we could do it as a family or something!!! That's pretty cool that the ward did a musical play! Sounds like an eventful week!!
That's sad to hear about President Hughes :'( but he is in a better place!!
This week was a little better than last week! On Friday we stayed in the whole day because Elder Horning would get dizzy when he stands up. He talked to Sister Jensen and then to the Mission Doctor and he told Elder Horning to buy some stuff that breaks up earwax in his inner ear!! Haha! He is doing fine! I read about 25 chapters in the Book of Mormon that day! Speaking of that President Jensen challenged the whole mission to read the Book of Mormon before the end of the year, and I was at exactly half way through the Book of Mormon when I got the message!! I didn't wanna start over from there so I decided to finish reading it and then read it again!! I am now on 3 Nephi 5 or 6 and my goal is to read at least 6 chapters a day until the end of the year!! I'm excited!! And then at the beginning of the year I will dive into a couple of chapters to study more about them!! :) I'm excited if you can't tell!! :)
Yesturday we were going to see some investigators (Nathan and Candice) and when we got there Candice's mom came out and said that she didn't think they were home, but then Nathan poked his head out of the door. He and Candice got into a argument, I think and he was coming out to cool down. He told us we could go in and that he would be in in a minute. We went in but Candice was crying a bit and we asked if then was a bad time, she said to ask Nathan. So we went back out (Candice's mom was out there talking with Nathan) and he thought she kicked us out but we explained that we aren't supposed to be in doors with a woman without there being another man there. Then Angie (Candice's mom) asked us if we believed that Mary (Mother of Jesus) was our Heavenly Mother. We told her we have never heard that and that we didn't believe it, and then asked another bizzar question that we shot down as we didn't believe in it! And then the cool part! She asked us if we believed that Thomas S. Monson was the prophet on the Earth today, and I said yes I do. And she asked how do you know that, I responded by saying through studying and prayer! That eased the tension that was there and we were able to bare witness of President Monson, the Book of Mormon, and Joseph Smith!! I think that's the strongest time the spirit has testified to someone that I have felt on my mission! We gave Angie a Book of Mormon and a few pamphlets! And we set a time to go back and teach more!! Before when we came back out to talk to Nathan you could just feel that there was something not right and then after bearing testimony and letting the Spirit come in the feeling changed! It was a good feeling! I can't wait to go back!!! :)
Last night we went to a fireside at the church and it was President and Sister Park (Branch President and his wife) who talked about their spiritual trip to the Palmyra area. And they talked about going there next summer with anyone in the Branch who would like to go! I was jealous!!!
Well that's it for this week! I love y'all! And I will talk to ya next week! It's sad that this email has come to a close already!!!

Cameron's Letter Sept 12, 2011
Hello Family and friends!
Thank you for the Bike shop info!
Dang Westlake is in trouble! BYU bounce back and beat Utah!!! I would love an article, but I better not it might make me focus more on that than the work, but thank you very much for the selections you sent me! I read all of the BYU report and alot of the High school football report! I loved them!
That's good that Aunt JaNae is doing well! And that is a great blessing!! I was amazed at how much the bill was in the first place!! That's incredible!
Your email was short this week haha Emily's first missing of the school bus! I remember those days! I had many dreams about missing the bus!
This week has been just like other weeks here, I have felt the spirit most when I am studying, reading in the Book of Mormon, New Testament and Jesus the Christ! In Jesus the Christ I read about the apostles and where they came from, and many of them just left what they were doing (their jobs) and followed Christ! I just thought that was amazing that they were willing to drop what they are doing and just leave it behind! They were blessed for that!
We have been helping a member (Sister White) chop down trees and build fires and everything that is involved with deforestation! it's been alot of fun! We try to look for other service but nobody is willing to take us up on our offer to help!
The Alma Twig, I mean Branch is great! I love the people here! They are all very friendly and we usually have anywhere from 30-50 people in sacrament metting! The total number of members on the roster is around 130. We haven't been using members a whole lot because we haven't needed help from them yet :/ My favorite memeber is Sister White! She is black and she isn't afraid to speak her mind! She is very funny!!!
Alma is small, in town there are mostly Blacks but in the country there are more Whites. We can ride around town on our bikes in about 10-15 minutes. Alot of people we talk to will say yes to us coming back just to be nice, but it ends up falling through and I would prefer them just say that they aren't interested. Oh Friday a family we were trying to teach got antied and asked us not to come back, and they wouldn't even tell us what they were told so we couldn't explain anything. I feel really bad for them! I hope that they will change their minds!
And on Saturday I recieved a letter Ronald (a recent convert I helped teach in Milton)! He is doing AMAZING!!! He got his Patriarchal Blessing, went to do baptisms for the dead, and now holds a calling!! It is awesome to see how the Lord is blessing his life!!! I am EXTREMELY happy about it!!!!
Elder Horning is senior companion, the senior and junior companion is just a calling, so senior companion could be any missionary! We have talked alot about what we can do to improve the area! And we think we have it, but we need to put it into action and have faith that we will get results! That may be my problem, I don't think I have had enough faith in finding people here because we very rarely get a return visit. I need to do better at that. I do want to improve but it's not enough to just talk the talk.
There actually is one man that we are trying to work with, his name is George. And Elder Chapman and I talked with him on our tradeoff last week, he wanted missionaries to come by. So we did, we didn't really teach much then because we went to get to know him a little bit more, but before we left we left him a pamphlet on the Restoration! When we came back he said that he had read the first 2 chapters in the Book of Mormon and read the pamphlet and answered the study questions at the back of the pamphlet! We didn't really know what to do we were so amazed! After that though he shared his belief on MANY things! And they all were what we believed too! Except the tea. Right now he seems to just be doing this to gain more knowledge and not to better himself, but hopefully reading the Book of Mormon will change his heart! We are going to try and see him again sometime this week.
Well thank y'all for the prayers and everything! I love y'all and can't wait until I hear from y'all again!!!

Cameron's Letter Sept 6,2011
Dear Family and Friends!
Yep I didn't email monday (as you have already guessed!) Thank you very much for the package! I didn't look at the candy when I got it, I put it right into the fridge! The cookies are good! And the gummy worms are almost gone because Elder Horning has eaten a ton of them! I probably shouldn't have left them out in the open. I love the t-shirt!! Dang! Is Aunt JaNae's cancer treatable?
And for the scriputres I already have a small Book of Mormon and I was told that there are small sets of scriptures that only people in the military can order or something like that, so that's why I asked if you could ask Bro Rentschler to see if he could get them.
The Disney songs umm there was an Elder here that had the Greatest Disney Songs volume 2 and 3 I believe, so if it would be easier for you to buy a cd of Disney songs, but if you don't wanna do that then just as many Disney songs as we have if you please.
Dang Westlake lost!? I don't think the year will get any better.
That's AWESOME that BYU won!!!! This next game will be a nail biter!! If BYU wins then this will be a good year!!
Sounds like home to me! Haha! Corn on the cob is great!
Well the first half of the week I was in Douglas awaiting on transfers. On Wednesday evening they came back and we stayed the night in Douglas. In the morning we were brought back here. And we are doing better with the work here. Hopefully this week will be better than last week! Yesturday we cleaned furniture for our trailer and cleaned the living room carpet! It's great! We now have other places to sit besides hard wooden chairs that look alot like our wooden chairs!! I am reading in Jesus the Chirst and I am learning alot about Christ and what he did and what really happened!! There are alot of big words too! Some I don't always understand, but for the most part I understand the big words! Elder Horning the 2nd day we rode bikes got a flat tire! Could you give me the number for the great bike store in Tallahassee so I can call to get new tubes in the future? Elder Horning bought this slime stuff that is supposed to fill holes in tubes so I'm gonna try and see if those will patch up the holes! I had also gotten another flat tire last week! One of the ones that y'all ordered for me! I was mad!!! This area is a curse for bikes!!
Well that's it for this week. Is there anything y'all would like me to include in my next email so I can make my emails longer? Just let me know! I love y'all and hope you have a great week!!
Love,
Elder Cameron Williams
